
LAS VEGAS - Bank of Nevada Chief Executive Officer John Guedry will be honored with The Public Education Foundation’s 2015 Education Hero Award, for his continued dedication to exploring ideas and strategies which promote excellence in public education. Mr. Guedry will receive the award during The Public Education Foundation’s 19th Annual Education Hero Award Dinner on October 3, 2015.
Mr. Guedry has nearly three decades worth of financial sector experience in Southern Nevada and is known for his business, leadership and consensus building abilities. He is actively involved in many civic and charitable groups and is chairman-elect of the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce. Currently, he serves as the Treasurer of The Public Education Foundation and is also a member of its Board of Directors.

The Public Education Foundation’s Education Hero Award Dinner recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in improving public education and creating a better community. Mr. Guedry has consistently made it a priority to help raise the bar for education leadership in our community and educational opportunities for all.
